新宁八峒位于新宁县西南部的越城领山脉深处,左邻武冈市、城步苗族自治县,南邻广西壮族自治区,群山峻岭、溪水潺潺、竹林青翠、山路崎岖、民风淳朴。这片肥沃的土地上正孕育着粗犷高亢、古朴动人的瑶族山歌,它是民族传统音乐中的活化石之一。本文采用田野考察的研究方法,综合整理文献及音像资料,对新宁八峒山歌的源起、内容、形式等方面进行了梳理,原汁原味的瑶族山歌无不与瑶族人民的文化和生活息息相关,它蕴含了深厚的历史文化底蕴,具有很高的审美情趣和价值取向,保护和发扬这一独特的民间非物质文化遗产迫在眉睫。

This fertile land is pregnant with rough high-pitched, simple and moving Yao folk songs, it is one of the living fossils of traditional ethnic music. This article adopts the research methods of field investigation, synthesizes the literature and audiovisual materials, sorts out the origins, contents, forms and other aspects of the new Ningbayu folk songs. The authentic Yao folk songs are closely related to the culture and life of the Yao people, It contains a profound historical and cultural heritage, with a high aesthetic taste and value orientation, to protect and promote this unique folk intangible cultural heritage is imminent.
