在机车车辆工厂中,各种直径的内圆柱面的堆焊工作量是相当大的。以前大多采用工件固定,焊工沿内圆柱面圆周由下而上(辅以托药)的手工立堆方法施焊。这种方法,焊工的劳动强度很大,生产率也很低,同时堆焊质量也极不稳定,常出现气孔、夹渣等缺陷。因此,内圆柱面堆焊实现自动化对提高生产率,改善劳动条件,确保堆焊质量等方面具有现实的重要意义。
