“统筹城乡经济社会发展,建设现代农业,发展农村经济,增加农民收入,是全面建设小康社会的重大任务。”这是党的十六大赋予新世纪农业、农村、农民问题的新内涵。今年开春,中共中央、国务院又把<关于促进农民增加收入若干政策的意见>作为一号文件公布。党和国家对“三农”问题的高度重视,既指明了“三农”宣传的方向,又对做好新时期“三农”报道提出了更高的要求。电视媒体的对农节目,要以创新的精神,转变观念,转换视角,改进手段,做好“三农”宣传,为解决“三农”问题提供强有力的舆论引导和支持。
“The overall task of coordinating the economic and social development in urban and rural areas, building modern agriculture, developing the rural economy and increasing the peasants’ income is a major task for building an overall well-to-do society.” This is the new connotation of the problems entrusted to the agriculture, rural areas and peasants in the new century by the 16th National Party Congress. In the spring of this year, the CPC Central Committee and State Council again released Opinions on Some Policies to Increase Peasants’ Incomes as a Document. The great importance that the party and the country attach to the issue of “agriculture, countryside and farmers” not only points out the direction of propaganda for “agriculture, rural areas and farmers”, but also sets higher demands for doing well in the reporting of “agriculture, farmer and rural area” in the new period. The television media’s programs on agriculture should change their concepts, change their perspectives, improve their means and do a good job in propaganda of “agriculture, rural areas and farmers” in an innovative spirit so as to provide strong guidance and support for public opinions in solving the problems concerning agriculture, rural areas and farmers.
