两栖类动物皮肤长期裸露,在自然选择的过程中,为抵御有害环境因子的侵袭逐渐形成了一系列保护机制。而皮肤抗菌肽属自然免疫的一部分,是生物体免疫防御的第一道防线,可以抑制微生物生长、阻止微生物入侵。本文主要从两栖类动物皮肤抗菌肽的结构、作用机制、活性功能等方面进行阐述,以期系统认识和了解两栖类动物皮肤抗菌肽,并为其应用研究提供理论依据。
