建筑形式的重要功能是表达，好比演说家使用语言，作家使用文字。对形式的理解和运用是建筑师应该掌握的基本功。建筑学专业设计基础教学应以学习形式的认知、运用和表达为目标。
The important function of the architectural form is expression, such as the speaker’s use of language and the writer’s use of words. The understanding and application of forms are basic skills that architects should master. The basic teaching of architecture design should aim at the cognition, application and expression of the learning form.
