从世界范围来说,翻译法在外语教学的领域里统治了数百年之久。解放前,我国的外语教学基本上都采用这种方法。它的弊端在于:第一,过分强调两种语言的对译;第二,过分强调语法在教学中的作用,纯粹为掌握语法而学习语法;第三,过份强调记诵,教学方式单一,课堂沉闷;第四,忽视语音、语调和口语教学。解放后,我国在外语教学法方面转向苏联学习,采用自觉对比法。自觉对比法批判了曾 From a global perspective, translation law ruled for hundreds of years in the field of foreign language teaching.
