与中华历史的其他朝代相比,明朝甚至比宋朝更能够表达中国式理想。明代文人更喜欢以佛道释儒,以“狂禅”的方式穿梭于出世的通道;他们推究于儒学的肌理,又遵从自身性灵的召唤;他们有时孤傲冷艳,行为偏执,以奇傲世,但有时又沉醉温柔乡,纵情享乐;他们既不能忘情于殿堂,但又悠游于山林,这种矛盾但又统一的人格特征,让他们散发出一种独特的气息,他们比任何一个朝代的文人更关注内心,也更注重生活的品质,也无比渴望在茫茫人海中吸引到自己的“同类知己”。所以他们选择了一种为己和为知己的最好方式,就是造一间文房来宠爱自己。
