The information transmitted by the box antenna can reach 100-200 meters away from the underground mine rock. Because of the strong inductive coupling between the receiving and transmitting antennas, they can not be eliminated. Therefore, not only the radio waves but also the fields in the vicinity of the transmitting dipole should be taken into consideration in calculating the input signal level of the receiving device of the inductive communication system .
