陈宝苻,又名陈居玺,生于1899年,广西平南县人,1921年考入北京大学,受同学黄日葵的影响参加马克思主义研究会。1924年春,由黄日葵、李国瑄介绍,他加入了中国共产党。入党后不久,陈宝苻担任北京大学第六届党支部书记,直到1926年毕业。毕业后,陈宝苻被中共北方区委派到黄埔军校,随后又被中共南方区委派回广西协助黄日葵工作。1927年,蒋介石、汪精卫先后背叛革命,大肆血腥屠杀共产党人和革命群众。此时,陈宝苻
Chen Baodi, also known as Chen Ju Xi, was born in 1899 in Pingnan County, Guangxi Province. He was admitted to Peking University in 1921 and attended the seminar of Marxism influenced by his classmate Sunflower. In the spring of 1924, introduced by Sunflower, Li Guofei, he joined the Chinese Communist Party. Shortly after joining the party, Chen Baogu served as secretary of the sixth party branch of Peking University until graduating in 1926. After graduation, Chen Baodi was dispatched to the Whampoa Military Academy by the Communist Party of China Northern District Party Committee, and was subsequently sent back to Guangxi by the CPC Central Committee for the South to assist Sunflower.
