Objective To investigate the effects of respiratory training on pulmonary function in Ⅲa patients with lung cancer who underwent chemotherapy alone without chemotherapy. Methods A total of 79 patients with Stage Ⅲa lung cancer diagnosed as non-chemotherapy and inpatient residency were randomly divided into experimental group (n = 40) and control group (n = 39) according to random number method. Patients in control group were given routine treatment and nursing of stage Ⅲa lung cancer and follow-up care guidance after discharge. On the basis of this, the experimental group was trained in respiratory function at the same time. Both groups received 6-minute walking test at the 6th week of routine supportive therapy, Scale for dyspnea and fatigue grading score, and calculate the heart rate changes and changes in blood oxygen score. Results After treatment, the walking distance, dyspnea score, fatigue score, heart rate change score and oxygen saturation score in the experimental group were all better than those in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The 6-min walking test can reflect the pulmonary function of patients with Stage Ⅲa lung cancer. On the basis of routine treatment, with the training of respiratory function, pulmonary function and exercise endurance can be further improved and the quality of life of patients can be improved.
