少奇很少谈他的光荣历史。1948年,他曾对我说:“要从我的今后了解我,不要从我的过去了解我。”他的谦虚,使我深受教育。但是,他在同老同志、亲戚、旧谊来往中,在谈论其他问题时,难免要涉及他的过去。因此,我还是零零星星地听他讲起过去的一些事。
Shaoji rarely talks about his glorious history. In 1948 he told me: “To know me from my future, do not know me from my past.” His modesty taught me a lot. However, when talking about other issues with his old comrades, relatives and old friendships, he inevitably has to deal with his past. Therefore, I still listened to him sporadically about some things from the past.
