Irrigation in Australia for mainly sowing crops such as cotton, corn, sorghum and soybeans predominantly takes the form of furrow irrigation. In most cases, water is introduced into the ditch through the siphon from the intake canal. Another type of irrigation technology is the laying of a movable water pipeline on the ground. The irrigation water flows into the trench along the water pipe at a certain distance (or control valve plug) for irrigation. Pipe with a rigid pipe or hose, pipe control valve is divided into any opening, the local opening and a fixed opening of three. This type of irrigation technology with valve plugged water pipelines has been adopted in the United States and is now in widespread use in Australia.
