对外汉语教学是一门年轻的学科,它起步较晚,且由于各方面的偏见而始终未能登上语言学的大雅之堂。现在,伴随着改革、开放政策的实行,大洋两岸,心心念念,但碍于声调抑扬,形体见方的“魔鬼”文字,常常彼此默然相对,因此,对外汉语教学便成为中外双方互通有无的桥梁。对外汉语教学是一门科学性和实践性都很强的学科,其科学性主要包括教学方法论和语言学本身,因为教授的对象不同,语言学研究的侧重点
Teaching Chinese as a foreign language is a young subject. It started relatively late, and due to various prejudices, it failed to boast a great deal of linguistics. Now, with the implementation of reform and opening-up policies, both sides of the Taiwan Strait feel reluctant to read but often suffer silent opposition from the “devil” texts whose tone is restrained and their bodies are shaped. Therefore, teaching Chinese as a foreign language has become a bridge of mutual exchanges between Chinese and foreign countries. Teaching Chinese as a foreign language is a discipline which is both scientific and practical. Its science mainly includes teaching methodology and linguistics itself.
