Tektronix, which ranks 305th in 500 U.S. Fortune 500 industrial companies, announced on the 13th anniversary of the establishment of the Tektronix China Technology Center in Beijing on March 13th. Tektronix is a major company engaged in research and development, providing a variety of excellent commercial products in measurement, color printing, television, and network services. In the past ten years, Tektronix has established a branch in China, and has invested in three joint ventures in Yangzhong, Shanghai and Chongqing, and has established six offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Xian and Wuhan. The newly established Tektronix China Science and Technology Center is the only Tektronix company in Asia and the only technology center outside the United States. It will employ China’s computer software engineering, electronic hardware engineering and mechanical engineering.
