北京军区1864部队卫生科根据群众用食醋防止胃肠道传染病的经验,调查了四个食品加工厂,发现酿醋工人很少患呼吸道传染病。他们于1968年冬开始应用食醋蒸熏消毒预防流感。1969年春冬,这个部队先后有13个连队发生流感,12个连队经用这个办法第二天就控制了流行。而另一连队没有用这个办法,两天后,全连60%的人发病,第三天开始 According to the experience of the masses using vinegar to prevent gastrointestinal diseases, the 1864 Army Health Section of the Beijing Military Region investigated four food processing plants and found that the brewers and vinegar workers seldom had respiratory infectious diseases.
