根据高职学生认知能力发展的特点和学业发展的需求,高职英语课程应强调在进一步发展学生综合语言运用能力的基础上,着重提高学生用英语获取信息、处理信息、分析问题和解决问题的能力,特别注重提高学生用英语进行思维和表达的能力。而这些能力的培养和提高有赖于阅读能力的提高。笔者通过多年的高职教学实践发现很多学生存在阅读速度慢,理解能力弱的现象。每次面对阅读理解题会望而生畏,信心不足,以至于很难读到底。还有相当多的学生尽管坚持做了很多阅读理解题,但收效甚微。因此本文从影响阅读理解能力的因素出发,谈谈高职生英语阅读理解能力的提高。
According to the characteristics of the development of cognitive ability of higher vocational students and the demand of academic development, the English curriculum in higher vocational colleges should emphasize that on the basis of further developing students ’ability of using integrated language, the emphasis should be placed on improving students’ ability to obtain information, process information, analyze problems and solve problems in English With particular emphasis on improving students’ ability to think and express in English. The cultivation and improvement of these abilities depends on the improvement of reading ability. Through years of higher vocational teaching practice, I found that many students have the phenomenon of slow reading and weak understanding. Every time reading comprehension questions will be daunting, lack of confidence, so hard to read in the end. There are quite a few students who insist on doing a lot of reading comprehension, but with little success. Therefore, this article from the factors that affect reading comprehension, to talk about the improvement of English reading comprehension.
