红点唇瓢虫 Chilocorus Kuwanae Silvestri 是盾蚧科、链蚧科、蜡蚧科等多种介壳虫的重要天敌。近年来由于在桃园、杏园、以及梨园经常使用有机磷、有机氯等高毒农药造成蚧虫猖獗。其中,杀伤天敌红点唇瓢虫是造成猖獗的主要原因。例如:我所和抚宁下庄八队桃园桑盾蚧虫害严重度分别高达67%和65%以上。为了解决以上问题,本文通过试验,论述了红点唇飘虫的分布、扑食范围、形态特征、生活史及习性、田间种群数量自然消长以及扑食能力等问题,为利用红点唇瓢虫提供科学依据,并且提出如何利用的意见。
