惰性气体β闪烁探测器是由有机高聚物作基托并涂以密实的发光物质制成的特殊形状的低能闪烁探测器。它可应用于核电站及其他核辐射场合作低量程惰性气体β射线的监测。本探测器最小可探测浓度(MDC),对~(133)Xe而言,在时间常数τ=10min,置信度为99.7%(3σ)和外γ辐射场为2.58×10~(-7)C/kg(~(60)Co)的条件下,可达1.2Bq/L;有效测量范围,对~(138)Xe为11.1~3.7×10~4Bq/L。该探测装置由于采取了特别措施,能耐3×10~5Pa表压,以保证反应堆失水事故时,探测器中的放射性气体不会向外泄漏。本探测器制作容易,结构合理,且便于去污。
Inert Gas Beta Scintillation Detector is a low-energy scintillation detector of special shape made of organic polymer base and coated with dense luminescent material. It can be applied to nuclear power stations and other nuclear radiation field cooperation low-range inert gas beta ray monitoring. The minimum detector detectable concentration (MDC) for this detector is 99.7% (3σ) for the ~ (133) Xe and 2.58 × 10 ~ (-7) C for the γ = 10 min / kg (~ (60) Co), up to 1.2Bq / L; the effective measurement range is 11.1 ~ 3.7 × 10 ~ 4Bq / L for ~ (138) Xe. Due to special measures taken by the detection device, it can withstand 3 × 10 ~ 5Pa gauge pressure to ensure that when the reactor water loss accident, the detector’s radioactive gas will not leak to the outside. The detector is easy to make, reasonably structured and easy to decontaminate.
