随着林业资源管理工作的加强,森林立地资源的调查研究日显重要,但森林立地分类的基本原则及有关问题迄今仍缺乏全面统一的规定及认识。然而,森林立地分类原则决定着分类方法和分类依据的选择,关系到分类成果的科学性和可行性。因此,这不仅是一个立地调查中经常遇到的实标问题,而且是值得研究的重要理论问题。一般系统论奠基人L·V·贝塔朗菲定义系统是:相互作用诸要素的综合体。森林立地的概念恰好与此相符,它是一定时、空条件下林业用地上各种相互作用的自然要素
