Her contributions to the criticism of women’s rights are twofold: first, she pointed out that the metaphor of “earth woman” is the product of the male-centered cultural myth, and the earth in the eyes of women is the Garden of Eden, Secondly, Crowdney put forward the core essence of feminist literary criticism and proposed the pluralist theory of feminist criticism, pointing out the direction for feminist criticism in the budding period, laying the foundation for today’s feminist studies.
