侧抽运Nd∶YAG棒对径向偏振光和切向偏振光具有不同的热焦距,利用He-Ne激光器输出的线偏振光和旋转狭缝测量Nd∶YAG棒的径向、切向热焦距,设计谐振腔使得只有一种偏振光能低损耗稳定振荡。在440 W抽运功率下,获得31.7 W径向偏振激光,光束质量因子M2约为2.5,调整腔长后,在470 W抽运功率下,获得30.2 W切向偏振激光,光束质量因子M2约为2.8。实验结果表明,利用热致双焦点选模可以获得较大功率的径向、切向偏振激光输出,但激光器对抽运功率敏感。 The side-pumped Nd:YAG rods have different thermal focal lengths for radial and tangential polarized light. The radial and tangential thermal focal lengths of Nd:YAG rods were measured using linearly polarized light and rotary slits from a He-Ne laser , The design of the resonator makes it possible to have only one type of polarized light with low loss and stable oscillation. At a pumping power of 440 W, a 31.7 W radial polarized laser beam is obtained with a beam quality factor M2 of about 2.5. After adjusting the cavity length, a 30.2 W tangential polarized laser beam is obtained at a pumping power of 470 W. The beam quality factor M2 Is 2.8. Experimental results show that the use of birefringent dual-focus mode to obtain a larger power radial and tangential polarized laser output, but the laser is sensitive to the pumping power.
