Sensitivity and specificity of each site to monofilaments were studied in combination with the sensory evaluation of 5 sites on the right foot of 1 32 diabetic patients using a Semmes- Weinstein Monofilament (monofilament) . At the same time, monofilaments with bending forces of 5 g and 15 g were randomly selected to detect 5 sites of right foot in 200 diabetics. Results: Five sites in the patient without sensory foot (threshold for tremor threshold> 40) were highly specific (90%) to 5.07 / 1 0 g monofilaments but low sensitivity and very variable (40% ~ 70%), the combination of different parts of the test showed too strict criteria that low sensitivity but high specificity of the combination. In addition, different monofilament bending force can cause confusion in the test results. Hint: The combination of correct monofilament detection on the plantar first metatarsal and fifth metatarsal skin can quickly and reliably detect sensitivities and specificities (80% and 86%) if both sites First, the detection of monofilament no feeling, can be judged as no sense enough
