本文以十七至十八世纪工艺美术中瓷器为研究背景,在继承和借鉴对中西差异比较已有研究成果的基础上,运用中西对比研究及文献收集的方法 ,吸收中西工艺美术研究方面的新思想、新观点,试图提供十七、十八世纪中国沿袭工艺美术传统的再发展与西方工艺美术造物理念对比研究的新思想与新材料,也为更多有心于中西对比探索研究方向的学者提供借鉴。研究认为:通过对十七、十八世纪中西瓷器的研究可以从具体的一个点拓展到对中西社会比较发现。
