文学始终是创作主体精神的有力承担者。作家以其自身文化理念和价值指归的不同造就了作家精神史走向在文化空间上的差异。在表现形态上 ,差异具体表现为“拯救历史”与“拯救自我”的历史性对立 ,这种对立性的存在规定了现代乡土文学创作的基本秩序。由于两种精神史发展严重不平衡 ,导致了中国现代乡土文学近乎总体性的精神缺陷。基于此 ,文章提出了一个知识者需要严肃面对的问题 :文学究竟应该拯救什么 ?
Literature has always been a powerful undertaking of the main body of creation. The differences between the writers and their own cultural ideas and values give rise to differences in the cultural spirits of writers’ spiritual history. In terms of their manifestations, the difference manifests itself as a historical antithesis between “saving history” and “saving oneself.” The existence of this opposite sex prescribes the basic order of modern local literary creation. Due to the serious imbalances in the development of the two spiritual histories, this has led to the almost total mental deficiency of modern Chinese local literature. Based on this, the article puts forward a question that a knowledgeer needs to face seriously: what should literature save?
