机电工业部赴韩国考察团一行7人在团长、综合计划司朱森第司长的率领下,于1993年1月7日至19日,对韩国的工业管理进行了为期13天的考察访问。在韩期间,先后在汉城、大邱、昌原、浦项等地访问了韩国商工部、韩国机械工业振兴会、韩国中小企业振兴公团、昌原工业管理公团、以及三星、大宇、汉拿重工、韩国重工、胜利机械、江原产业、浦项钢厂等7个集团和企业。在短短十几天的考察中,代表团突出感受到的是:韩国政府从自己的实际情况出发,进行有力、有效和有序的干预;有一批在政府和、企业之间起到桥梁和纽带作用的社团;为数不多的大企业和一大批中小企业分别在国民经济的发展中起着支柱作用和基础作用;自强不息的民族精神,是韩国经济得以迅速发展的因素。
