2000年《小学语文教学大纲》(修订版)中首次提到了口语交际教学,《语文课程标准》中则明确规定口语交际教学要在学生已有的听说能力的基础上,规范学生的口头语言,提高口语交际能力,并能在日常的学习生活中文明地进行人际沟通和社会交往。然而,因为是一种新生事物,教师对口语交际课的认识不足,重视不够,口语交际课的现状令人担忧,“虚无”现象随处可见。
