在当代中国最近30多年的时间内,曾发生过两次波澜壮阔、影响深远的“人口大迁徙”浪潮:一次是发生在“文革”中的知青上山下乡运动,数以千万计的城市知识青年,在当时政治口号的驱动下奔赴广大农村、边疆地区“与贫下中农相结合”,它随着“文革”的告终而逐步消退;另一次则滥觞于我国改革开放初期(即20世纪80年代初),以千百万农村青年为主力军掀起的“打工潮”,几乎波及、覆盖了全国所有的城市,而且,它至今方兴未艾,仍有不断发展、壮大的趋势。
