金莲山古墓群位于云南省澄江县右所镇旧城村东南,云南省文物考古研究所、玉溪市文物管理所、澄江县文化体育局(文管所)、吉林大学边疆考古研究中心等单位先后组成了联合考古队,于2006年3～5月、2008年10月至2009年4月对该墓地的山顶区域进行了两次大规模发掘。经过两次发掘,我们认识到金莲山古墓群是一处重要的石寨山文化墓地,大致涵盖了战国至东汉时期石寨山文化的时代特征。
Jinlian Mountain tombs are located in the southeastern town of Youcheng, Chengjiang County, Yunnan Province, Yunnan Institute of Cultural Relics and Archeology, Yuxi City Cultural Relics Management Office, Chengjiang County Culture and Sports Bureau (文管 所), Jilin University Frontier Archeology Research Center and other units Has formed a joint team of archeology, from March 2006 to May 2006, from October 2008 to April 2009 carried out two large-scale excavation of the hilltop area of the cemetery. After two excavations, we recognize that the Jinlian Mountain tombs are an important Shizhaishan cultural cemetery, covering roughly the characteristics of Shizhaishan culture from the Warring States to Eastern Han Dynasties.
