职工业余高等教育工作中的一个基本問題,是如何既适合业余学习的特点,又要达到高等教育要求的問題。就是怎样利用有限的业余学习时間,达到或接近于全日制大专学校的水平。我們正是在这个問題上走过了一段曲折的道路。我們会按照全日制大学的課程設置和教时,拟訂了一个机械制造专业的教学計划。以每周学习九课时計算,耍八年到九年的时間。这不仅是“远水不解近渴”,职工也实在难于坚持下来。这个做法行不通后,又强調职工有生产經驗,学习可以速成,强調业余教育要“直接”为生产服务,认为学习年限越短越好,学习內容越实用越好,从这个思想
