Objective To test the effects and the inducing effects of fatty acids in five kinds of human sweat on the antenna potential of Aedes albopictus indoors. Methods Antennal potentials were used to test the responses of the A. taiwanensis to acid species. The “T” -type olfactometer was used to test the attraction of the A. triticinae to the A. albopictus. Results In the antennal potential test, octanoic acid and L-lactic acid caused significant changes of the tentorial potential of Aedes albopictus, and the maximum responses were induced at a dose of 10μl / ml. The average measured values of EAG were (2.768 ± 0.457) mV and (1.945 ± 0.783) mV. Myristic acid, benzoic acid and pelargonic acid did not induce significant changes in the antenna potential of Ae. Albopictus (P> 0.05). In the lure effect test, when the concentration of octanoic acid was more than 1μl / ml, the induction of Aedes albopictus was significantly (76.65 ± 1.09, P = 0.016). When the concentration reached 10μl / ml, = 0.002 9). Lactic acid had weak attraction to Aedes albopictus at the concentration of 10μl / ml [(60.34 ± 3.88)%, P = 0.04]. There was no significant difference between the concentration of lactic acid and the control at 0.1μl / ml and 1μl / ml (P = 0.362). Myristic acid, benzoic acid and pelargonic acid There was no significant difference (P> 0.05) between the number of mosquitoes in the treatment arm and the number in the control arm at the three concentrations tested in this test. Conclusions Octanoic acid and L-lactic acid cause obvious changes of the antenna potential of Aedes albopictus and induce the attraction of Aedes albopictus, and they will be tested in the wild in the future.
