由于受传统观念和管理机制的束缚,医院图书馆长期来只为本单位至多是本系统的医务人员提供服务,已成为天经地义的事。因其服务的范围、对象过子局限和单一,致使大量文献资源没有得到充分利用,这种自我封闭的模式严重地影响和制约了自身的发展。因此,医院图书馆应建立一种新的读者服务模式,即增加为病人服务项目,这是一条值得探索的新思路,将有助于医院图书馆自身的完善和发展。
Due to the shackles of traditional concepts and management mechanisms, it has become a matter of course for the hospital library to provide services to medical personnel of the system at most for a long period of time. Due to the limitation of its service scope and the singleness of its objects, a great deal of literature resources are not fully utilized. This self-enclosed model seriously affects and restricts its own development. Therefore, the hospital library should establish a new reader service model, that is, to increase patient service projects. This is a new idea worth exploring and will help to improve and develop the hospital library itself.
