2012年7月9日～11日,代表英语学界最高水平的中国电影学术研讨会在英国埃克塞特大学举行。此次会议吸引了来自英国、美国、澳大利亚、法国、荷兰、瑞士、新加坡、马来西亚等国,以及中国大陆、香港、澳门、台湾等地的70余名学者和博士生候选人参加。与会代表围绕着21世纪中国电影“想象”这个主题,展开了四个方面的探讨——想象海外华语电影与混杂状态、想象流行性与消费性、想象真实性与地域性、想象国族与帝国。基于这四个方面的想象,英语世界学者合力建构了一幅通过影片所展现出的21世纪“中国帝国”形象。
From July 9 to July 12, 2012, the Chinese Film Symposium, which represents the highest level of English learning, was held at the University of Exeter, UK. The conference attracted more than 70 scholars and PhD candidates from Britain, the United States, Australia, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Singapore, Malaysia and other countries as well as mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Participants around the theme of the 21st century Chinese movie “imagination ”, launched four aspects of exploration - the imagination of overseas Chinese films and mixed state, the imagination of the epidemic and consumer, the authenticity of the imagination and the region, the imagination of the nation And the empire. Based on these four aspects of imagination, English-language scholars work together to build an image of the 21st century “Chinese Empire” demonstrated through the film.
