精确同位素地质测年结果表明,泰山岩群下部地层雁翎关岩组(含原柳杭组下亚组)岩浆结晶锆石 SHRIMP U Pb年龄(2747±7)Ma,孟家屯岩组碎屑锆石内核 SHRIMPU Pb年龄(2717±33)Ma、(2742±23)Ma,均属新太古代早期,形成年龄为2750~2700Ma;泰山岩群上部地层山草峪岩组最年轻的碎屑锆石(2544±6)Ma,被峄山岩套石英闪长岩和傲徕山岩套二长花岗岩侵入,它限制了地层形成时代不晚于2530Ma,柳杭岩组(原柳杭组上亚组)最年轻的碎屑锆石(2524±7)Ma,均属新太古代晚期,被峄山岩套石英闪长岩和傲徕山岩套二长花岗岩侵入,形成年龄为2550~2530Ma.
