如教授 water 这个词,在讲授时可以借助一些教具或动作,如洒水、浇花、喝水的动作等,这些都必须是学生熟悉的行为,再呈现以下的句子。新课程带着新世纪的气息向我们走来,英语课堂气氛更活跃了,学生们学得更轻松了,然而对他们来说,现在感觉最难的就是记单词。现代英语的词汇总量已达到200多万,是世界上词汇量最大的语言,而且随着社会的发展、科技的进步,词汇还在不断地更新、创生和扩大。客观上,词汇教学已成了当今英语教学中令教师和学生极为头痛的一个难题,与此同时,初中英语词汇教学问题也必将成为一个值得探讨的课题。本人结合多年的教学实践活动,拟遵循英语词汇教学的基本原则,就此课题作一较为系统的思考与总结。

The new curriculum came to us with a breath of new century, the English classroom became more dynamic and students learned more easily. However, the hardest part for them now is to memorize words. The total amount of vocabulary in modern English has reached more than 2 million, which is the largest vocabulary in the world. With the development of society and the progress of science and technology, the vocabulary is continuously updated, created and expanded. Objectively speaking, vocabulary teaching has become a very headache for teachers and students in today’s English teaching. At the same time, the problem of junior high school English vocabulary teaching is bound to become a subject worth exploring. I combine many years of teaching practice activities, intended to follow the basic principles of English vocabulary teaching, on this subject to make a more systematic thinking and summary.
