清儒段玉裁著《经韵楼集》卷十二《与诸同志书论校书之难》,是一篇阐述他的校勘思想的著名文字。我在撰写《清史·朴学志·校勘篇》时引用其中的一条校勘记。校勘记第一段如次:“《周礼·轮人》:‘望而视其轮,欲其幎尔而下迆也。’自《唐石经》以下,各本皆作‘下迆’,唐贾氏作‘不迆’,故疏曰:‘不迆者,谓辐上至毂,两两相当,正直不旁迆,故曰不迆也。’文理甚明。今各本疏文皆作‘下迆’,(夹注:下迆者,谓辐上至毂,两两相当,正直不旁迆,故
