为了解决生存与发展的问题，结合玉门市的实际，从环境保护角度出发，以发展经济为目标，提出玉门市必须走“发展生态型农村经济”之路，才是改变农村面貌的重要途径。并着重提出：发展“以农户为单位的家庭规模型生态农业”更适应玉门农业生态特点和自然条件。
In order to solve the problem of survival and development, combined with the reality of Yumen City, from the perspective of environmental protection and economic development as the goal, Yumen City must take the road of “developing eco-rural economy” and is an important way to change the rural appearance. And it puts forward emphatically that developing “family-scale eco-agriculture with peasant household” more adapts to Yumen agro-ecological characteristics and natural conditions.
