“象”和“像”混用的现象,在报刊书籍中屡见不鲜,一般人的笔下更是俯拾即是。其实,这两个字的意义和用法虽存在着交叉,但仍有较明显的区别。“象”是象形字,本义为大象,假借义有形状、形象、摹拟等;“像”是形声字,本义为相似,引申义有形象、相貌、仿效等。现把“象”和“像”的常用义项以及含有这两个字的常用词语分述如下。
The phenomena of “like” and “like” are common in newspapers and magazines, and most people’s writings are even more prosaic.
