The Book of the Tripitaka, written in the late Qing Dynasty, recorded the experience of a bell doctor in saving the sick and helping the country save the country. The novel uses the metaphor of bell medicine as a clue to show a series of medical descriptions of Chinese medicine “not only medical illness, but also doctors, but also medical World ” of the great medical feelings. Through the medical research in Lao Tsang Travels, we can interpret the humane spirit of traditional Chinese medicine as implied in the metaphors of the bell medicine and explore its practical significance for the development of traditional Chinese medicine.
