通过对《诗经·召南·甘棠》“勿翦勿拜”中的“拜”字及与其相关的“拔、擘、掰、扒”几字形音义三方面的考察,本文认为此“拜”字不是通假字,而是用其本义“折弯”。常用的“拜礼”义是由“折弯”引申出来的。
Through the study of the word “worship” in The Book of Songs · Nantong · Kom Tong and the notion of “worship” Word is not a fake word, but with its original meaning “bend.” The commonly used “worship ceremony” is derived from “bending”.
