工会作为职工自愿结合的工人阶级的群众性组织,将分散的劳动者团结起来共同行使权利、表达意愿,使劳动者与用人单位之间与生俱来的实力上的不平衡有所缓和,为劳动者与用人单位平等对话、公平协商提供了可能和必要的保障。工会具有怎样的职能以及这些职能是否被切实履行对劳动者切身利益的保护具有重要意义,因此无论是劳动者本身,抑或用人单位还是各级政府劳动部门都应予以足够的重视,以充分发挥工会的职能,保护劳动者的合法权益,构建和谐劳资关系,促进社会稳定。
As a mass organization of the working class voluntarily joined by the workers and staff members, the unions work together to disperse the workers to exercise their rights and express their wishes so as to ease the inherent imbalance between the workers and the employers.
