宜昌县地处长江上中游交界地区(30°32′—31°28′N,110°51′—111°39′E),境内地势起伏,平原、丘陵,山地交错。水稻栽培制度基本上为单双混栽稻区和单季稻区。白背飞虱Sogatella furcifera(Horváth)、褐稻虱Nilaparvatalugens(Stal)都是水稻上的主要害虫。通过近几年对这两种飞虱的发生观察及饲养,初步看出:两种飞虱常年混合发生,在生物学特性及种群消长规律等方面有较大的差异。 Yichang County is located at the junction of the upper and middle reaches of the Yangtze River (30 ° 32’-31 ° 28’N, 110 ° 51’-111 ° 39’E) with undulating terrain, plains, hills and mountains.
