齿轮油一般按用途分为两大类,即车用齿轮油和工业用齿轮油。车用齿轮油具有优良的极压抗磨性,适当的粘度,优良的粘温性和低温流动性,良好的热氧化安定性、防锈性及抗泡沫性等性能。从使用性能看,齿轮油又可分为普通齿轮油和双曲线齿轮油两类。普通齿轮油的抗磨性差,使用在工作条件不太苛刻的螺旋齿轮传动装置上;双曲线齿轮油抗磨性好,使用于有双曲线齿轮传动装置的拖拉机、汽车上。齿轮油的牌号及使用范围请看表1。
Gear oil is generally divided into two categories according to purpose, namely, gear oil for vehicle and gear oil for industry. Automotive gear oil has excellent extreme pressure and abrasion resistance, proper viscosity, excellent viscosity and low temperature fluidity, good thermal oxidation stability, anti-rust and anti-foam properties. From the use of performance, gear oil can be divided into ordinary gear oil and hyperbolic gear oil two categories. Ordinary gear oil wear resistance is poor, the use of the working conditions are not too harsh on the helical gear transmission; hyperbolic gear oil wear resistance, used in hyperbolic gear tractors, cars.
