一、前言 闽北是个山高水冷,地瘦人稀的农林业发展地带,境内山脉重重,地形复杂,全区500万亩耕地,约有三分之一都属山垅田,特别低产,平均年亩产都在200~300斤以下。解放十年,特别是去年农业大跃进以来,全区掀起了山区赶平原、低产赶高产,山田赶洋田的“三赶”群众运动,大大改变了我区的落后面貌,摘掉了“低产区”的帽子,不仅在洋田获得了大面积的丰收,而且出现了很多丰产垅。今年早稻崇安黄土农场程家州分场23.08亩,平均亩产1,082.70斤,晚稻顺昌大于公社大播大队,获得了2,271亩亩产突破700斤的大面积丰产,其中有75.5亩超越千斤,而这些“千斤稻”的出现,也都是山垅田。 农业的跃进,既获丰收,也改变了山垅田瘦瘠面貌。现在,广大群众都在积极抓好洋面基本农田的同时,也开始重视了对山垅田的改良利用。坚决实行农业生产关于“少种多收”和“多种多收”两条腿走路的方针,初步肯定了山垅田的丰产。但是,目前山垅田产量的高低悬殊情况,还是严重地存在的,究竟原
