随着时代的进步,城市精神逐步成为国内外学者讨论的热门词汇。本文吸收并借鉴各家学者对于城市精神的理解,认为城市精神的本质应当是人文精神在城市建设和发展过程中的体现以及人自身在城市建设和发展中自我提升的过程。城市精神依托于城市存在,城市精神能够反作用于城市存在,并对城市发展起到推动或者阻碍作用。正确的城市精神是城市发展不可或缺的精神动力。两者是辩证统一的关系。此外,虽然每个城市都有各自不同的城市精神,但是作为某一历史时期的城市精神仍然具有某些发展的共性以及时代的特色。主要表现为以人为本,追求人的全面自由发展的精神、公民精神、法治精神以及和谐精神。
With the progress of the times, the spirit of the city has gradually become a popular term for scholars at home and abroad. This paper absorbs and learns from various scholars' understanding of urban spirit. It thinks that the essence of urban spirit should be the manifestation of humanistic spirit in the process of urban construction and development as well as the process of human self-improvement in urban construction and development. Urban spirit relies on the existence of cities, urban spirit can counteract the existence of cities and promote or impede the development of cities. Correct spirit of the city is an indispensable spiritual driving force for urban development. The two are dialectically unified relations. In addition, although each city has its own different spirit of the city, as a historic city spirit still has some common development and the characteristics of the times. Mainly for the people-oriented, the pursuit of the full freedom of human development, the spirit of the civic, the spirit of the rule of law and the spirit of harmony.
