Introduction To improve the mill’s ability to increase the load on its work rolls, there is a need to improve the quality of the rolls. In some modern mills, both power and speed increase at the same time, and spalling is often terrible. Therefore, there is great significance in the research leading to the spalling process and many colleagues are also deeply concerned.
