2007年11月18日,在第八届全国少数民族传统体育运动会上,河南省木球队在竞赛中以第四名的成绩赢得自参加全国少数民族传统体育运动会以来所取得的最好成绩。捷报传来,河南省木球队教练员及队员们的“娘家人”——洛阳市回民中学全体师生为之振奋:民族学校特色体育在历经10年艰辛打拼后,终于迎来了又一个收获时节。
