铁画,原名铁花,是用铁铸成线条,再焊接而成的一种美术作品。铁画的制作起源于宋代,清康熙初年,安徽芜湖铁画才自成一体,并逐渐享誉四海,至今已有340多年历史,是由芜湖铁工汤鹏与芜湖画家肖云从相互砥砺而成。据清代《芜湖县志》所录《铁画歌·序》载,芜湖人汤鹏“少为铁工,与画室为邻,日窥其泼墨势,画师叱之。鹏发愤,因锻铁为山水嶂,寒汀孤屿,生趣宛然”。汤鹏从国画中受到启迪而创出铁画。 Iron painting, formerly known as iron flower, is cast iron into lines, and then welded a work of art.
