Following the formal merger between Ningbo Port and Zhoushan Port, new progress has been made in the port of Zhejiang. Recently, six ports including Jiaxing inland port, Zhapu Port, Changxing Port, Anji Port, Shaoxing Port and Dongzhou Port led the establishment of the Haihe Intermodal Port Alliance and signed the cooperation agreement of Zhejiang Haihe Alliance. This also marks the construction of the Haihe Port Alliance, a voluntary composition of 5 inland river ports in the province and Zhapu Port, which has entered a substantive operation.
