Introduction The epigenetic regulator Uhrf1 (also known as Np95) is a DNA methylation and histone ubiquitination regulators that play an important role in embryonic development and tumorigenesis. This work confirms that Uhrf1 is required for i NKT cell differentiation and maturation. The results revealed that Uhrf1 is overexpressed in stage 1 i NKT cells and that knockdown of Uhrf1 specifically in T cells results in differentiation of i NKT cells starting from stage 1 and increased apoptosis of i NKT cells,
