多协议标签交换(MPLS)技术的成熟和扩展将推进基础网络的智能化和下一代光网络的实现。在对流量工程和MPLS体系结构分析的基础上,讨论了利用MPLS实现流量工程的优势。利用网络仿真器NS2设计了OSPF(开放最短路径优先)路由协议和MPLS流量工程的实例。通过对仿真结果的比较和分析,可以看出MPLS流量工程可以有效地实现网络负载均衡和恢复机制,提高网络服务质量。
The maturation and expansion of multi-protocol label switching (MPLS) technologies will advance the intelligence of basic networks and the realization of next-generation optical networks. Based on the analysis of traffic engineering and MPLS architecture, the advantages of using MPLS to implement traffic engineering are discussed. An example of OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) routing protocol and MPLS traffic engineering is designed by using network simulator NS2. Through the comparison and analysis of the simulation results, it can be seen that the MPLS traffic engineering can effectively realize the network load balancing and recovery mechanism and improve the network service quality.
